How much money is recommended to load on the gift card?
Each student is unique in their needs for shopping. With the being said, a good idea is to list out the intended people and then giving a dollar amount per person. Our gifts range from .25 to $20 each.
What happens if the amount paid for isn't used when the student shops?
It's hard to get the student to spend the exact amount loaded on the card. The shop is run by volunteers and it's difficult to get it to work out perfectly. What happens is that the amount left over stays on the card and is available for next years shopping experience.
